    Default Synergy Green 5th gen

I have been hearing all about this new Synergy green Camaro that is debuting on the 1LT Camaro. Ive heard it mentioned that its a really pretty color but it doesnt photo very well. Im not really that impressed in the 'kermit' looking color...especially at the $2060 asking price for the color. Thats a lot of money for a color that is questionable. What are everyones opinions?

My initial thought after seeing several high quality pics on the web I don't think I'll like it any better actually seeing it on an actual car. I hope it is a very limited edition color.

they are hoping it will boost the sales of the V6. My thought is that with that sort of pricetag, it wont do anything to help the V6

Chevy is hoping the color will draw the tuner crowd and boost sales. They have the right idea but the premium price for a special color will not work. I believe that the best way for chevy to keep the camaro interesting and unique is by offering different colors and stripe color combos for a limited time. Buyers would feel they have something special. If chevy were to continue the current trend and rotate in a different color every 8 months or so and do a limited run it could keep the camaro buzz flowing. But it will not work if they are going to charge a premium for the color. I would like to see a camaro in cinamon brown, black cherry or maybe even the firebird gold of the late 70's. With the limited ability to option a car the way you want inorder to personalize it color and stripe combos would fill that gap.

I really like the color, but still dislike the overall 5th gen design, it's so boring looking to me, and I really dislike the side gill indentations. The Jay Leno concept is how the Camaro would need to look to get my interest:

The front and rear fascias are huge improvements along with the hood and rear quarters. The lowered ride height helps immensely too. They make that in green or jet stream blue or something neat and I'd be interested in getting one someday.

I LOVVVVVE the green color!! Reminds me of the 1st gen Rally Green. However, if I were to buy a 5th gen it would have to be........
